In 2001, President Sung-yong Ha founded AIRRANE, a venture company that R&D and manufactures gas separation membranes. Mr. Ha started membrane research at the Graduate School of Hanyang University in 1992, studied membranes at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) until 1996, and obtained a doctorate degree from the Department of Industrial Chemistry at Hanyang University in 2000. He has lectured on separators at various universities including Kyunghee University, Kangwon University, and Gyeongsang University. He is also a member of the Korean Membrane Society and a full member of the American Membrane Society.
Sales & Marketing / Managing Director
Managing Director Soo-hwi Kim joined AIRRANE in 2021 as the head of sales division. He obtained a master's degree in industrial chemistry from Hanyang University in 1996, was in charge of R&D and technical sales at Hansol Chemical from 1996 to 2006, and accumulated rich sales experience as a Sales Director at Dow Chemical from 2006 to 2018. He is working to establish AIRRANE's growth strategy and enhance global brand value.
Doctor of Engineering Research Institute Director / Managing Director
Director Choong-seop Lee is in charge of R&D as the brain of AIRRANE. He received his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Hannam University, and he is dedicated to the development and application of gas separation membranes.
New Business Center / Managing Director
SunKeun Lee holds a B.S. Degree in Chemical Engineering from Yonsei University and a MS Degree in Chemical Engineering from KAIST. He began with start-up engineer for a Refinery and then has experiences within the petrochemical, refinery and LNG over the last 30 years, having worked on a variety of projects as a process engineer. Currently SunKeun Lee is working with AIRRANE as a head of New Growth Business Center.

Sang Hoon Han has joined Airrane R&D team in 2016. Since graduated at the Chemical Engineering in Hanyang University in 2010, he has expertize on membrane materials, manufacturing and process research especially on gas separation membrane. He is a director at the Membrane Society of Korea.
